President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and President of Mongolia Kh.Battulga held talks in Ulaanbaatar. The heads of state discussed the current state and prospects for further development of Russian-Mongolian cooperation, as well as a number of topical regional issues.

Following international consultations, a package of bilateral documents was signed in the presence of the leaders. Then Vladimir V. Putin and Kh.Battulga made press statements.

The head of the Russian state has arrived in Mongolia on an official visit to participate in celebrations dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the victory of Soviet and Mongolian troops in the battle of Khalkhin Gol.
