A ceremony of laying wreaths at the Memorial to Soviet soldiers on Mount Zaisan, timed to the Day of the Unknown Soldier, took place on December 3, 2018 in Mongolia. The orchestra of the company of the Honor Guard of the Armed Forces of Mongolia played the anthems of Russia and Mongolia. The employees of the Russian Embassy in Mongolia, the Russian Center attended the event for Science and Culture in Ulaanbaatar, compatriots and the Mongolian public.

On the same day, flowers were laid at the monument to Marshal of the Soviet Union G.K.Zhukov the leadership of the Coordination Council of organizations of Russian compatriots, the House-Museum of G.K.Zhukov in Ulaanbaatar, the Secondary School at the Russian Embassy, ​​Russian Lyceum named after Y.Gagarin, as well as teachers, students of Russian schools and citizens of the country also took part in the event.

On the initiative of the Coordination Council of Russian Compatriots' Organizations in Mongolia and the G.K. Zhukov House-Museum, an intellectual quiz on the history of the Great Patriotic War took place in the museum of the Mongol warrior of Ulaanbaatar as part of a network project under the name "In the trenches of Stalingrad".

In honor of the memorable date in the Russian schools and branches of the Russian Language Center at the RCSC, thematic exhibitions and courage lessons were organized.
