On November 14, 2018 the first KVN ("Club of the Funny and Inventive People") Cup of Russian-Mongolian youth was held in the event hall of the Russian Centre for Science and Culture (RCSC) in Ulaanbaatar in the framework of the Days of Russian-Mongolian friendship and cooperation-2018 that were organized for the 58th time by far.

On November 14, 2018 the first KVN ("Club of the Funny and Inventive People") Cup of Russian-Mongolian youth was held in the event hall of the Russian Centre for Science and Culture (RCSC) in Ulaanbaatar in the framework of the  Days of Russian-Mongolian friendship and cooperation-2018 that were organized for the 58th time by far.

The RCSC in Ulaanbaatar with the assistance of the Russian Embassy in Mongolia, as well as the Union of Mongolian friendship societies, the Ministry for Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Mongolia and students from MGIMO University, who are currently undertaking language internship in Mongolia, were among the organizers of one of the most exciting events - the Cup of KVN - aimed at young people of the two countries.

The teams from the National University of Mongolia - " The Diplomats", from Ulaanbaatar branch of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics -" The Economists", and from the Mongolian Debates Club - "Victoria" took part in the competition. The team “The Diplomats” from the National University of Mongolia won the contest with a very narrow majority.

According to the decision of the Ministry for Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Mongolia, the winners of the KVN Cup will visit Russia on May 9, 2019 to attend the Victory Day parade on Red Square.
