Mongolia-EAEU (The Eurasian Economic Union) forum was held in Ulaanbaatar in order to strengthen bilateral ties. The forum discussed further cooperation measures in such fields as technical coordination, application of sanitary and phytosanitary measures and implementation of joint projects in transportation, investment and energy sectors.

Parties signed Memorandum of cooperation between the EEC and Mongolian Agency for Standardization and Meteorology and Memorandum of cooperation between the EEC and General Agency for specialized inspection of Mongolia and a Plan for joint actions in road and transportation field.

Within the framework of the Forum, a meeting with representatives of Mongolian business circles was also held. Participants touched upon obstacles for the development of mutual business-projects and ways to remove them.
