On November 20-23, 2018, the 29th International Exhibition “Gateway to Asia” took place in Ulaanbaatar. The National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Mongolia and Russian “Business Contact” company co-organized the event with the assistance of the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry of Mongolia, the Government of Russia’s Irkutsk region, the Russian Embassy and the Trade Representative’s Office of the Russian Federation in Mongolia. More than 50 Mongolian and Russian enterprises participated in the exhibition, representing food products, building materials and industrial equipment manufactured in the Republic of Buryatia, the Irkutsk Region, the Zabaykalsky Krai and other Russian regions. Visitors could also receive detailed information on logistics, travel companies and agricultural enterprises as well as light and heavy industries in these regions. A business forum was held as part of the event.
