Russian Ambassador to Mongolia Azizov Meets Mongolian PM Oyun-Erdene Luvsannamsrai
April, 26, Russian Ambassador to Mongolia Iskander Azizov held a regular working meeting with Mongolian Prime-Minister Oyun-Erdene Luvsannamsrai at the initiative of the Mongolian side.
In the course of the meeting the parties exchanged views on the process of implementing a finalised event programme dedicated to the 100th Anniversary of Russia-Mongolia diplomatic relations. The Mongolian PM emphasised the importance of maintaining bilateral contacts at the higher and the highest levels amid such an important context. The Ambassador, in turn, advised to coordinate such meetings in advance at the ministerial level. Thereupon the Prime-Minister expressed interest in the upcoming visit to Russia by the Mongolian Foreign Minister Battsetseg Batmunkh at the invitation of her Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov.
Mr. Oyun-Erdene brought the pace of the vaccination and the Government’s plan of further vaccine supplies to the Ambassador’s attention. The ambassador reaffirmed commitment of the Russian side to perform obligations arising from two contracts with Mongolian partners on supplying totally 1 million double doses of “Sputnik-V” vaccine. The schedule is to be presented shortly.
The head of the Government stressed the necessity to advance Russia-Mongolia cooperation on all tracks in the anniversary year in both virtual and live forms.
