April, 22, Russian Ambassador to Mongolia Iskander Azizov met the speaker of the Mongolian Parliament Zandanshatar Gombojav. At the start of the meeting the Russian diplomat handed a letter of gratitude for birthday greetings from Valentina Matvienko, Chairperson of the Federal Council of the Russian Federation, over to the Speaker. Later on the parties touched upon the issues of supplies of “Sputnik-V” vaccine to Mongolia, construction of a trans-Mongolian gas pipeline from Russia to China and holding events dedicated to the 100^th Anniversary of Russia-Mongolia diplomatic relations. The meeting took place in a positive environment.
