On December 27th, 2018 New Year’s Day for the members of Centre for Family and Child Development “Big Family” in Ulaanbaatar, for the students of the specialized school №116 in Ulaanbaatar for the visually impaired children and for children from low-income families, being in the custody of the NGO “The Future of Mongolia” was held at the Russian Centre for Science and Culture.
On December 20-22, 2018 “Innovation in Teaching” festival in the field of teaching Russian was held at the Russian Centre for Science and Culture (RCSC). The initiative came from Kyakhta (the Republic of Buryatia) Public School № 4, the winner of the competition organized by the Russian Ministry for Education.
On November 23, 2018 the opening of photo exhibition dedicated to the 190th anniversary of the birth of Lev N. Tolstoy was held in the lobby of the Russian Centre for Science and Culture (RCSC) in Ulaanbaatar as a part of celebrations that are to mark the ending of the "Days of Russian-Mongolian Friendship and Cooperation – 2018".
"Mesto Pamyati" (Commemoration Site) is a new project of the Russian Military Historical Society. Its task is to unite people’s efforts to preserve the military-historical heritage such as memorials, monuments, sites of mass graves of soldiers killed during the Great Patriotic War and other armed conflicts.
On November 20-23, 2018, the 29th International Exhibition “Gateway to Asia” took place in Ulaanbaatar. The National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Mongolia and Russian “Business Contact” company co-organized the event with the assistance of the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry of Mongolia, the Government of Russia’s Irkutsk region, the Russian Embassy and the Trade Representative’s Office of the Russian Federation in Mongolia.
