Russia-Mongolia Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Scientific and Technological Cooperation

March, 17, co-chairs of Russia-Mongolia Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Scientific and Technological Cooperation held a meeting in the form of video-conference. Delegations were headed by the Russian Deputy Prime-Minister Victoria Abramchenko and her Mongolian counterpart Amarsaikhan Sainbuyan. The parties discussed on top of the other topics bilateral interaction in the fields of energy, transportation and humanitarian cooperation. They touched upon the issues of strengthening inter-regional cooperation and the prospects for further development of the Russian-Mongolian joint venture “Ulaanbaatar Railway”. The sides also noted that this year marks the 100^th anniversary of Russia -Mongolia diplomatic relations.
